Better energy, crappier content. We talk about Scott’s trip to Appalachia, enjoying the failures of others, beating a dead Tiger, and much better segues.
The eight week hiatus didn’t help–this one’s pretty meh. We talk about Scott’s upcoming religious conversion, non-vegetative Belgians, and have a lackluster discussion about sketch TV shows.
This one includes a debate over the purpose of a prep sheet, the differences between sports, games, and races–it takes about five minutes for this to get dirty–follow-up on the last show, stage names, and more personal plans.
Nice two-month lag time on this one. This is why we need to avoid talking about current events.
This time we cover Steve’s uninteresting trip to California, social anxiety and denial, parody movies, unexpected nudity in film, Steve and Scott’s secret aspirations, pissing on other people’s art, and oh-so-timely There Will Be Blood references.
Slow start, but not terrible. Topics include higher education, suits, our high school reunion, ambition and limitations, c-blocking etiquette, being out of shape, worlds colliding, and coy references to marital aids.
Live from Scott’s kitchen, our first guest didn’t show, we still haven’t figured out segues, job interview experiences, vacation stories, pregnancies, birth defects, bionics, abortion, and uninformed discussion of Roman history.
This one we’re happy with; it’s the first listenable show. Topics include another reality show pitch, advocation of violence against women, bladder issues, segue discussions, iPhone apps, and pedophilia humor.
The first half isn’t bad. Topics include reality show pitches, racism, and payoff on Scott’s drama.
The last half isn’t bad. Topics include growing pains, lack of progress, more complaining about work, Raving Fans of Moving Cheese, Office Space references, the managerial cock is always greener, a b-movies and rap lyrics discussion that goes absolutely nowhere, fire safety, and fun with anencephaly.
